It's been a work filled weekend, had a work dinner last night and took a few people to a college football game today. Finally relaxing at home with a little Stoli and club soda. Nothing exciting, but it's all I have

I attended the fall release party at Cinder Wines this afternoon with my lovely wife and kids in tow. They continually produce some of the best wines made in the Northwest US! My allocation included their small lot Viognier, Chardonnay, Cab/Merlot blend, Tempranillo, and 2nd label wine named Laissez Faire, which is a lesser expensive red table wine.

I am drinking a bottle of 2009 Cab/Merlot blend tonight!

Hiya, Jeff...I love a good single varietal Viognier. Not the most common wine out there, but one I tend to enjoy.

I'm a Makers Mark guy, but certainly respect the many good choices exhibited by my fellow McIntosh enthusiasts!
