Default Weekend for Racing

Well, it is Memorial Day weekend in the US. We are gathered with friends this weekend which will be highlighted by a big racing day tomorrow.

First, Monaco F1 in the early morning - great coffee, champagne and breakfast. We will follow this with the Indianapolis 500 by the pool - enjoying a great Sangria. And, we'll finish the day watching a little of the very loooong Nascar race and enjoying some BBQ.

Should be fun!

I'm right there with ya, however I didn't get to watch F1 qualifying live this morning. About to watch it recorded (at least Q3).

All bets are off in Monaco. Lewis did not want to start in P2!

Interesting developments in Monaco. Rosberg and Lewis' friendship being tested. The first turn will be exciting.

^^Agreed. But Monaco is not the place to get aggressive early. It could be a short race for the aggressor. Looking forward to the start. It's amazing to watch the flip-flop between Mercedes and Red Bull this year. Looked like Sebastian was going to be unbeatable for years. Shows you how close the talent level is in F1 and it really does come down to how the cars adapt to the new year's regulations.

Agreed, but there will be a lot of adrenaline flowing. Lewis is absolutely upset for the incident today that kept him from getting pole. Nico has a lot to prove. Should be a great race.

So my "internal" alarm clock went off at 7:20am central time. Flipped on my tv and expected to see the race from the beginning. For some reason, my DVR didn't automatically record the beginning of the race, probably because it was on NBC proper instead of NBC Sports. What happened to Vettel? Also, has Lewis taken any stabs at Nico or has he just been following the whole race?

I'll understand if no one answers to avoid posting a spoiler. I'm sure I can wait until the post-race review.
