anyone traveling from Roswell GA to NC?

I have a turntable in Roswell GA for repair. It is ready but I will need to make a 13 hour round trip to pick it up. Wonder if anyone is traveling anyway from the Roswell GA area, north of Atlanta, to NC that could do me a favor and pick it up and meet up in NC? I know this is a strange request but I am miserable thinking about the drive. Jim

I am in Greensboro but could drive south to Charlotte where our daughter and her husband and our granddaughter live. Or I can drive south as far as you are willing to drive north. After two hip replacements I am trying to avoid the full roundtrip to Atlanta and back. This is the B&O 4002 turntable that is part of the vintage system. It is completely restored from 1976 in excellent cosmetic shape. There are only a few people able to fully restore and a guy named Benny Amina in Roswell GA is one of them. The problem I had is a motor fail and he luckily had one from a "parts" TT. I just hope the replacement motor holds for many years. I really enjoy the vintage system in my office and the B&O 4002 is an automatic which makes it fun for the summer to stream outside or inside with company here.

Mark, if you can get down here for a listen whether it’s for the meetup or some other time, we could ride over to Roswell and pick it up for him.

Thanks...will let you know. That's a fine TT, glad it's fully up and running. Will let you know if I can pull this off. Is it boxed up?

Jim, I wish I knew about this last weekend. My son in law drove through from Birmingham AL back to Charlotte. Sorry man.
