Same here; not 100 hours/week but at least 70. I had a tube preamp (Accustic Arts) and after 2 years one could here light sssss and plops in the speakers, getting worser over time. So, I ended up by replacing tubes every 2,5y. I understand that some of us love to experiment with different tubes, but this is not my preferred hobby I sold the preamp and replaced it with a D1100 (don't have analog sources). Best decision so far...
