I have this model. It's fantastic. Quieter than SS Phobos I demoed. Inky black and musical.

Tima, thanks. isn't that price is for standard version ? The Deluxe is 1x,xxx $ i think. Toga
Hmm never mind anyway, on extensive listening, I prefer ARC REf2SE more. LP2.0 D was lacking in deep bass power. I think I will choose REf2SE. Last edited by TOGA; 09-21-2014 at 06:37 AM. |

If you want to dig the best out of the Lamm, u either use a higher coil impedance cartridge or use external matching stepup. |

With Denon 100th Anniversary cart, Lamm 2.0 lacked deep bass crunch.
Today with Phasemation PP1000, it sound much better, while ref2se sounded thin in the midband with PP1000. Lamm still a bit darker at top end. And gain seems a bit low with Pp1000. Burmester 100 sounded quite similar to Lp2.0, but at $$$$$$. |

If fund is unlimited, I will definitely have LP2.1 as one of my phono preamp collection,
but it is not, so I have to find phono preamp that is more all-around, electrically and sonically. But man.. price of LP2.1 is so tempting. But at the moment, I feel Burmester 100 is the most all-around unit. plenty of gain option, good sounding too. ARC REF2SE while sound really nice ,has only two gain option, one being too low and one too high. Toga |

etna is an absolutely wonderful cart - have heard it a few times now.
it got more soul than the atlas. you should have a great time, indeed! that combo should sound very rich and sweet. please keep us posted with your thoughts. |
