So, while what I proposed might not be reasonable , if it were done there would be a far better sonic match than going with something smaller. Not only a better sonic match, but four floor standers rock the room in a way that you will learn to love.

One of these days you'll see a pair on Audiogon when someone is blowing them out and you buy.

Then you'll thank me.

Rob.......You could probably pick up a pair of preowned PMC OB1i speakers for your back surround channels. They would offer a nice small foot print, with no need for stands. The OB1i's would also give you a perfect timber match with the EB1i's because they use the same soft dome mid range and tweeter drivers, and also have the same advanced transmission line loading of the bass drivers for a clean, tight bottom to blend with the JL Audio sub. That's my two cents worth.

Dan,

This sounds like a good option.

I do like the size and price of the TB2i's for surrounds. Just not sure how they would blend with the EB1i's.

I was going to use the OB1i's, but my couch location would have blocked them.

So I used the CB6i's for the surrounds. Maybe overkill but they are great.

You are using 2 Cb6i's for surrounds?

Yes, and one for the Center.

I have EB1i's for my fronts.

adol290.......Welcome to Audio Aficionado.

You will find plenty of PMC fans here. I am completely thrilled with my PMC EB1i speakers. I am glad to see we have another PMC owner in the group.
