Aha!

Kinda like:

Benz versus BMW
Rolex versus Vacheron
Pavarotti versus Rod Stewart

Sorry, sorry Jim, am a little cranky today. Cant help to have a little joke. Think I am going mad! :screwy:

By the way, am waiting for you ..... Nov date!

Meanwhile, disposing off most stuff now. The packing sure is a killer. Magazines, Comics, CD's DVD's, Bluray, Watches, some of the collected ones will have to go! HiFi is not spared.

One last thing (borrowed from Jobs) : Bright side of the story (I always console myself) - a CHANCE to rebuild a NEW system ..... After reading all the new setups, acquisition you guys are enjoying (PMC, SF, Sasha .... you guys know who you are, the ITCH is sure unbearable.) Maybe, just maybe!

A chance to crack on that full Ref (all digital) McIntosh system? MBL Reference System? The quad amp Bryston/PMC system? Maybe I should give me PB a call to see if he can scrape some cash from my account somewhere! Buying new toys always gets me alive. I think Ivan is like that too! Difference is Ivan is loaded while I am un-loaded.

Cheers!

Come on, you could have offered a better one that Benz versus BMW. They are too close.

My plans are pretty firm and I hope to see you on the 13th of November.

Ahem ...... let me see, thats way before I started reading threads at AudioKarma.

2 years - and thats because I switched from Wilson 6 to 7. The front have been consistent - MCD751/MDA700, MLD7020, MVP841, MR85, C22 II, 2x MC275 SS (think its series 3).

I know, I know, I have been pretty freaking unsound, unstable and darn immature on hifi faithfulness ....

In short, I dont think I even know where I am heading! Sigh!

Every time I am presented with an opportunity, my stupid ingenuity to buy & change seeps in!

I really have to find a way to "detox" myself. So far, I am pretty consistent with the MCD500 and PWT/PWD .....

Hope that answers your questions and ... a reminder of me to be sober!

Cheers!
