I upgraded from a P10 to the new P15, and yes, I believe they both have the same capacity.

I have an "all digital" source system (no TT), and as soon as I hooked up my P15, the sound quality from my two DACs were immediately improved, better bass, soundstage, detail, smoothness in the midrange. I know that's not what you are asking, but I couldn't help myself!

I have my entire audio system hooked to the P15 (including a pair of sub woofers), and at most, it consumes about 20% of the capacity of the unit.

When I'm really "cranking it", in my 24x26' listening room, the meters on the MC452 dance around 4.5 watts.

Thanks for the helpful insight.
I guess its very possible the P15 can handle a pair of MC611 then...

I have 611s and am considering either P15 or P20. Looking at the mc611 manual (page 18) on power requirement, it said it operates at 120V ~ 50/60Hz @ 6.6 Amps, which I believe would require 792 Watts of power consumption (120V x 6.6 Amps). So, 2 mc611s would require 1,584 Watts (2 x 792 W) which exceeds the P15 quoted specs of 1200VA (US). Is this correct? Does this mean you will need P20 (2000VA) if you want to plug in the MC611s?

That is at fullpower which i doubt you will ever use the full 600w x 2 of the MC611...
Although sonically my guess, P20 would sound better than the P15 due to the extra headroom...
Someone here with experience would be good if they can chime in..
