Very nice. Did you start with one or two of the EMB 100 subs? Am starting to think "sub", but don't anything overpowering. Just something to bring up the bass-line in acoustic jazz.

I went with 2 right away. Demoed them at my regular dealer in Vancouver comparing to some much more expensive subs. I was very impressed with quality of construction and of course the sound. They are very musical. Price was $3000 Canadian for the pair. Seems like a true bargain. He recommended them over the previously mentioned much more expensive subs.

Can you give your impressions of your Sopra 2's?

Ofcourse.

Having had them for 2 months, I still find them as spectacular as day one and enjoy them several hours a day.

If I had to highlight a few things, I would say they have superb imaging, a high level of detail and precision.
They are still very musical, and makes your feet tap.

I auditioned them against B&W 802's, Dali Epicon 8's (I had the 6's), Sonus Faber Olympica III & ML Montis.
While all of those were very good in general with different high points, I find the Sopra for me to be in another league with the "whole package" kind of deal.

Gear matching & positioning is always a good idea to make them sing, but this would apply to all speakers.

Thanks. I love the overall package of this speaker. I went ahead and ordered Electra 1038be's and they should be delivered this week. I'll probably always have the Sopras in the back of my mind though.

Hi Superfrg

I would like to hear what your room size is, i unfortunately started to dream about the Sopra 2, while i also as you have an eye for the Sonus Faber...

My current problem could be room size, as i live in a very small space....
Am also in Denmark, by the way.
