livestrong, thanks for documenting your journey. The pictures are great and I'm living vicariously. It's like getting a bunch of gear but not having to spend a dime.
The DC10's look very nice!

Beautiful room; love your selection of gear, especially the Tannoys! Nice to read such a complete yet succinct account of someone else's journey. Wish I'd documented mine better. Yours looks like it moved pretty fast & furious! Tomorrow morning, when the upgrade-itch fairy inevitably visits you again, I can heartily recommend the Tannoy DC10A -- you even get to stick with that same beautiful cabinet design & finish

Hmm, though on 2nd thought you will lose some bass without the extra 10" woofer (even though everything else about the 10A is soooo sweet)...maybe you should just enjoy what you've got for a bit.

I love the photos. Are there LEDs in the turntable that illuminate the platter or is that something you added? The effect is SUPER cool.

Cheers,

Gregory

Funny, I've been following this "journey" over on the AK forum for a few months now, and just commented on it again today. Then I hope over here to AA and the first thread I see is this one! Small world! LOL

Don't judge Let's just say I've since expanded my musical interests dramatically since getting into this hobby!

It is actually the light above the table that shines through translucent vinyl when it is on the platter
