Seems like the tweeter module is more elliptical than on the cm10. Interesting

I owned the 703 series 1 and then sold them. It was the stupidest thing I have done concerning audio equipment.

When I stepped up from the 703 series 1 to the 800 series (804D2, then 802D2 and now 802D3) I kept the 703's as my home theater set since I liked them so much. I still love them.

PietDV, thanks for the link. Beautiful! I'll be interested to hear reviews on performance.

B&W 704s were the very first speakers I bought in college, I still have them. I think they were $1500 and I thought I was insane for paying that much. I'm happy there are still some obtainable speakers of this quality at these prices.

Found elsewhere:

702 S2 $4,500 per pair
703 S2 $3,500 per pair
704 S2 $2,500 per pair
705 S2 $2,500 per pair plus $500 for stands
706 S2 $1,800 per pair
707 S2 $1,200 per pair

These prices make more sense. It appears that Joey V had the correct prices per pair for some and the price for one speaker for the others. I think I paid $2,000 for a pair of CM6 S2's plus $500 for stands from my local dealer (for use in a study). Given the technological improvements in the 705 S2, another $500 seems very reasonable (and the existing stands will probably work).
