Mine just arrived last night. Fired up a Dolby Vision disc Transformers Last Knight. Holy fricking WOW. I didn’t do a side by side since I do have dual 75’s in the living room but there is no way the Xbox One X looked better.

Disappointed with the SLIGHTLY sluggish GUI on the main interface. Not sure if its the high res wallpaper when switching sources but oh well. Also wondering if I can make all of the sources go away other than disc.

The remote lights up when you move it which is great. Very impressed. Heavy. Doesn’t produce much heat. I’m about to watch Despicable Me 3 in Dolby Vision and maybe Spider-Man Homecoming in DV afterwards.

So I just watched Guardians of the Galaxy. I can guarantee you that the 205 kicks the crap out of the Xbox One X. Wow.

Default 205 as pre-pro

We also have the 205 - well-made, versatile unit. It acts as the pre-pro in our modest media room (5.1 set up). I wanted to minimize box count and the 205 checked all the boxes.
