I am using the Outer Limit on my Ovation. I can recommend this device highly enough. It is expensive but the improvement it provides makes it a bargain. I think it is more important than the high end center record clamp.

I just mounted a Koetsu RSP on 9" Universal and I could not seem to get the cart parallel. I am using the 49g wt and 1.94 VTF. The tone arm base is making contact with the armboard, no VTA2. Any ideas? Im using the clearaudio micro bubble level on the headshell over the stylus and it still floats towards the pivot point. Could be user error first cart set ip on this arm, from VPI.

Thanks Jeff

I don't think that using a bubble level placed on top of a headshell is a reliable way to set VTA/SRA, although I know that many users rely on just that technique. While you could have a genuine compatibility issue here, I'd suggest using a VTA measuring block to set pickup arm height.

Believe it or not, I use two packs of mini playing cards to check the VTA.
