Been a while since any knowledgeable shooter would recommend a new Colt product. If it weren't for long-term gov't contracts Colt would have joined the dodo in the 'dust bin of history'. They just came out with a revolver. With their several bankruptcies over recent decades, won't be surprised to see them there again, sooner than later. Typical antiquated corporate thinking gets them every time.

Good luck with that .338L. We have a couple of them at our club, but they are not allowed on the line unless everyone else who is shooting agrees to it. They are simply too loud and uncomfortable to the other shooters.
