Dave.......For the record I did not question her femininity, which by the way has nothing to do with gender. I stated she is a woman. Does she have purple hair and look manly? Yes, in my opinion she does. I merely stated the obvious as I see it. Is she a lesbian? Heck, I don't know and don't care. Am I bothered by it either way? No, I am not.

Believe me I was just as surprised and evidently there are other videos out there even grosser but I won't even bother looking for them.

It was our moment to shine as a country so what a shame that some of the champions and "representatives" of our country used the moment when the whole world turned their attention to them, to resort to nothing but some vulgar, gangster-like language and display of non patriotic attitude... Shame on them and their parents.

What people think and say in private is their business and they are entitled to it. Their sexual orientation is their business as well.

When one feels entitled to publicly voice out loud something that is perceived as threat based on their sexual orientation and pedophilia on top of it all, then it becomes the business of everyone who views such things as morally wrong.

By the way, the Flag Code says, "The Flag Should Never Touch the Ground". If you are going to be handling OUR flag in front of the whole world, don't drop it on the ground and have your team mate step on it on purpose or by accident...

Politics are one thing but Patriotism is a whole other thing. Politicians come and go and we can survive without politics but a country is doomed without Patriotism.

Default FIFA’s Women World Cup !

I love the no politics policy on AA.

I fully agree with Dan and am appalled when these athletes use their position to make a political statement and degrade the flag.

For me it’s simple- if I am an employee or representative of Microsoft, for example... and I’m on the Microsoft soccer team, I would expect a prompt termination if I used the award ceremony to make a public statement against the company.

Representing any nation as an athlete, warts and all comes with a duty and responsibility —-

It’s low class in my opinion to use the platform for political protests, which have there place elsewhere.

Loved the way they played. Off the field in public, not so much. Kept hearing the soccer media saying this team was 'different'! Yeah, they were, but not all in a good way. I think US Soccer has some work to do before they let these spoiled women represent us next year in Tokyo. We need players with a little CLASS who are proud to represent the United States (regardless of their political views). To me that's more important than winning a medal. If Jill Ellis doesn't understand that, maybe we need a new coach too.

She's a patriot in the full sense of the term.
Absolutely +1. That's why I spent 8+ years on active duty. Protect her (and everyone's) right to tell it as it is. I may not agree with her tactics (I don't - think it is needlessly over the top - too much like AOC), but I absolutely agree with her aims & goals. Think I'll order another pair of Nike shoes.
