Humbuster & PPP...?
Just wondering if a humberster would be needed in addition to a ppp, or does the ppp block dc in addition to regeneration?

The Power Plant Premier does not offer the same features as the Humbuster. If you are experiencing DC induced transformer hum you may use the Humbuster in conjunction with the Power Plant Premier.
In order to explain why the Premier does not offer DC correction we need to first understand where this DC comes from. The simple way to put it is that it is really a DC offset, or a shift in the AC sinewave in relation to the zero crossing point. Although the Power Plant Premier can rebuild a perfect sinewave it is not capable of shifting the sinewave in relation to the zero crossing point. We could have built the Humbuster into the Premier. Since very few people experience DC induced transformer hum we determined it was not worth increasing the price of the Premier for the majority just to meet the needs of a small minority.
