In the device manager mine is listed as COM3. When I start the MX120 software the drop down com is listed as com3. I follow the process of turning off and on the main rocker switch, but the down load doesn't start up and each time it fails..... Very frustrating! I wish I knew what I was doing wrong. Has anybody done the update at home?

When I go to the set up menu under "version check" one of the listings is "RS232 OFF"

How do I turn the RS232 option on? That might be my problem....

Well I was finally successful with my MX-119 software update! The MX-120 software does not work for the MX-119 and that was really why it was not working for me. I called Mcintosh this morning and spoke to Landon Mullen who is a technician there. He was super helpful and sent me the update. I plugged in my usb/rs232 cable and clicked through the menus. It worked without a problem! I went in and re-set all of my settings and all is now good! Before I installed the software I took a quick digital picture of each set up screen so I could quickly put the correct settings back in.

I would be happy to send the MX-119 update to anybody that would like it.
