Love my JBL LSR308's! This is my office set up - Have several Harman products in my office - Note the DBX cross over and AKG Q701's

The LSRs are a fine series and have been from the start. They've introduced a lot of innovations over the years. In the same vein I like a lot of what Genelec does and have owned a few of their active monitors. They are well engineered.

Yes, Genies are great monitors. 1031's are the only speaker my friend uses to master his productions with.

For the price, it's tough to beat the LSR308's. I got mine on Massdrop for an incredible deal about 6 months ago. And of course the JBL 4412 and LSR6332 are always found in like 75% of on-air and commercial radio studios.

I've had 1031s and they are excellent. And the guys who run the show in Finland are top notch. Another little box/big sound deal.

Ask your friend if he's ever seen one of these. I bet not!

Like the speakers, that knife was made in Finland.

One of 2 subs in my office (the other one is a Velodyne DD12)

Ps- the connection is through the wireless transmitter that Parts Express / SVSound sells. Works great! And, no wires.

What's up guys? So I'm a newb to the forum and also to some home audio accessories to an extent I guess. Worked at Best Buy for a little while but mainly sold TVs. Didn't delve too much into accessories. Writing music is more my thing.

Anyway, I inherited some vintage audio goodies from my gramps after he died. Just started doing a bunch of research on em' but came up empty for the most part. Found very little info. Talked to a few local home audio experts including my bud who's one of the experts at my old Best Buy. Got a little more info on the stuff, but my Best Buy friend told me I should try this forum out to see if anyone more knowledgeable than himself in vintage electronics could shed a little more light for me.

The main item that intrigued me out of all the others was this JBL SA-660 solid state integrated amp. It's in insanely good condition. No scratches or marks for the most part. Just needs to be cleaned up a bit. Haven't tried playing around much with it yet. Taking it up to my Best Buy bud later this week for him to inspect before I mess around with it.

Does anyone know anything about it? Just like general background info? Sound Quality? Rarity? What it might be worth? Couldn't find much info at all on it online like I said. If anyone could shed some light I'd be extremely grateful.

Thanks guys!
