Default Double Helix Cables

Here's another cable manufacture that looks interesting. Anyone purchase or know anything about this manufacture? They, of course, make cable for Astell and Kern devices but also other interconnects.

@Chessman. I am intrigued by these too: doublehelixcables.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=149 Chaperone RCA/XLR Interconnect for AK240 - $449.00 : Double Helix Cables, Custom OCC Cables for every audio system...headphone cables, IEM cables, portable cables and more.[/url]

Cables make me a bit nervous... subjective... but... I have some bucks to burn... so, why not. I have a few new toys coming to me in the mail... and I was thinking I might plunge with an XLR, Digital Coax and USB... and I do have those HomeDepot cables that could be upgraded to something a bit more attractive.

Since I didn't spot the brand name I am obviously unfamiliar with them, but from the pictures on the Internet they look similar to Kimber cable. Kimber is my standing "bang for the buck" recommendation. WireWorld is my speaker cable "performance" recommendation. For power cords, I only have two Shunyata power cords, but I am strongly looking at adding more of them, especially for digital components.

I have Double-Helix cables on my Shure SE 535 LE IEMs. I think they made an incredible difference. When I took off my stock cables and replaced them with the DHCs, it was like taking my thumb off of the end of a garden hose. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.
