I did not try Antileon. I liked Gryphon Mephisto with ARC. Some tuning such as proper amp stand, power cords helped in matching as well.

I tried my REF 10 with my Mcintosh MC 1.2KW. While this combo gives good result I elected to get a C1000 to match the MC1.2KW input impedance. The ARC pre-amp are really tuned to match the impedance of ARC amp which are typically much higher then a solid state amp. Just something to keep in mind when trying to match your ARC pre-amp with non-ARC amp.

I am still keeping my REF 10 which I bellieve to be one of the best pre-amp out there, and it IS a perfect match for my REF 750 tube amps...

I am starting to piece my ARC system one at at time. The plan is to mate a Ref5se with a Bryston 14BST until I get a Ref 150. Anyone know if there are any impedance issues with this? I know some have other ARC preamps with other Bryston amps so I am wondering if you think I'll have any problem with this temporary set up. Thx Pete

IMO the Krell Evo amps with ARC preamps have always been a magic combo.

How does one update their bio info on the profile page?
I can change my photo easily, but nothing else will allow me to edit it...?

Funny you should ask because I was trying to add my list of gears under the "Signature" but it does not let me. Not sure how people do it. Maybe it is under the bio section. To edit your bio, I believe you go to Quick links, then user control panel. In the user control menu, choose "your profile" on top Bio should be visible.
