Default Double A to the Majors!

Looks like a taste of the big leagues in audio are around the corner here

Just finished making the deal on a set of C4's.
Now my beloved Contour's will be bid adieu.
Bought the C4's having never heard them but by all that I have read about them and how much I love the sound of my Contour's, the rational is it will be a small chance of error.
Big Dyn's or bust!

Thanks fellas!
My head is still spinning and can't wait!

Dan they are in rosewood. Matches the existing trim in the house and same as my Contour's.

Amherst, First, CONGRATULATIONS! You're going to love the C4s. My upgrade was very similar to yours. I, too, started with Contour S3.4s. I upgraded to the C2s, site unseen and unheard. It should have been a big leap of faith. But, because I had and enjoyed the S3.4s so much, the whole experience seemed the natural thing to do. I've not looked back! What will you be driving them with?

Sweet!
How large is your room? I was cautioned against the C4s if you don't have a huge room...other than that, I am sure they will rock!

Thanks Sparks! Glad to hear I am not alone in such a blind purchase. But really we know the basic idea before the leap. Great story and happy you are satisfied.
The front end is all Parasound and serves double duty for HT. Starts out with a C1 processor and power served by an HCA-3500.

Mike I have read the same as you caution here. Well, I'll call the room marginal in size considering the size of these speakers. I am an audio lunatic for sure but they mostly will not be played at high levels and over pressurizing the room. They are going in a room with dimensions of 23' X 13' with 8 1/2' ceiling. Better suited to C2's I am sure
