From the pictures I've seen online, I chose Mocha. That can change if I were to see both in person.

Yeah, me too; a tough call for sure. My 25s are Bordeaux...and I love them; but the Mocha reminds me of some of the Walnut finishes I've seen, and that's very nice as well.

Mocha for me, I like brown wood finishes, and the dark mocha is no exception - even though normal walnut might still be nicer due to not being as extravagant

I originally was going to buy the c1 sigs in mocha, and got to see/hear them, but the dealer I went to had a great deal on the original c2s, but man the c1s in that mocha were sharp! I'd still like to buy them and find a home for em. Awesome speakers.

I don't like mocha because it reminds me of wenge, which I hate. I call it "wenj" as an indication of my dislike for it. Don't like maple, either. Cherry is nice.

I like the Bordeaux better, but a nice light Birdseye Maple in high-gloss would do it for me.

Or gloss black or gloss white.

That's because it was meant as joke...

Would that it were available, though.

Or maybe I should say, "Wood that it were available!"

Nothing like a little fun with words....just ask Alec Baldwin!

Really? I always thought of "wenge" as like a cheap, bad Rosewood finish. If that's the case, Bordeaux seems closer to that then Mocha; Bordeaux being the more red of the two.

Not that the Bordeaux is like "wenge" at all; provided it's the same Bordeaux the 25s are finished in (and I can't see why it wouldn't be), it's beautiful. I think I'm leaning that way. Tough call, as they're both nice; but I think in the end, it's the devil ya know...and, while I like the darker Mocha finish, I think it would work better in a cabinet where you see more of that cabinet. With the C1s, all you see is glorious baffle.

No, wenge (pronounced wen-gay, though my distaste for it has me calling it wenj, as a reference to the British term "whinge" for complaining) is a dark brown, coffee-like finish, darker than walnut. I cannot stand it....yeesh.

These days I'm really liking maple or other light finishes. Or Gloss Black like on my REL sub.
