Pete don't be a skeptic about vibration control the stuff works. When I had an all Mcintosh setup I had every component prop up on Starsound sistrum SP-1's
the pin point imaging was enhanced big time. The bitch was getting those 501's on those sharp points without scratching the surface of the 501's. I sold them when I moved on to my current setup and now I'm ready for something different like Symposium.
