Thanks for sharing. I've always loved the way the 936's (the whole 9XX line) looks btw!

Always liked Nordost. Decided to go a little cheaper at first. Tired DIY and Kimber. Ended up geting the Nordost. Wife said "I told you just to buy the ones you wanted". Yes dear. LOL

Started out with a Rotel RA-1592 that I was using with B&W 703. It just didn't sound right. Listened to McIntosh, which sounded great, but the Focal just was magical.

The wood and texture on the front plus the color of the Flax cones look awesome.

Love them... I think they're one of the best speakers at that price range. Just love the air in the high end.

My wife decided I should get some sort of thank you for helping her so much with the new baby. **NO ONE TELL HER THAT THE NEW BABY IS REWARD ENOUGH**

I told her I wanted to get an amp and take my B&W 703 to work. I must have been doing A LOT of talking about the Primaluna HP Integrated because she ordered it as a surprise. It came in and I hooked it into the main system to break it in and test it. Wow is all I can say. Such a wonderful piece of equipment!

She’s a keeper indeed! Heard nothing but great stuff about that amp. Look forward to your impressions, especially if she decides to buy you a set of KT150s to roll!

I like what PL says on their web site --

With PrimaLuna, you get to choose. Go for it. 6L6G, 6L6GC, 7581A, EL34, EL37, 6550, KT66, KT77, KT88, KT90, KT120, even the monstrous KT150. A future-proof design, PrimaLuna is compatible with NEW tube types not even thought of today!

Best Sir,

Bob
