That looks a THOUSAND times better than a stock unit. The 402 and 602 were just not my cup of tea stock. Both look great with Ivan's handles.

Debating putting handles on my c47. But then I’d have to do it for my mvp861! That’s a lot of money in handles! Could buy an mp100 for that!

Love mine - it's driving a pair of B&W 803Ds.

As do the MC501s, even though they look pretty great when stock, as well.

My 402 drives the B&W Signature 800s.

I was refreshed when I called McIntosh support in the past asking if I’d see a big jump upgrading to the 452 or 601s. Imagine my surprise when a McIntosh employee told me how capable the 402 still is and that the difference would be subtle!

Count me “in” the club!

Ivan’s handles arrived today and I didn’t waste any time. One amp down, one more to go.

Amazing build quality, fit & finish. Nicely done Ivan!

Congrats!!!

I love my mc402!

Out of curiosity, what did shopping on a pallet cost? I’m thinking about some upgrades and trying to get an idea on shipping costs for heavy beasts.
