Same room. I have another room with Avalons, but I have 6 different speakers I like to play with. Maggies are the refs.

Snell As' are classics. I've owned two pairs. I had the fourth pair made. The serial numbers were typed on a type writer. I also had a latter pair. Just a great speaker. I secret though how good they are................sshhhhhhhh

Congrats on the Snells, those units look in excellent shape. I first heard the Type As about 30 years ago, and they were one of the most impressive speakers I had ever heard. I would check that the rubber surrounds are still in good shape, and you should be good to go!

Interestingly, for a short time, Snell made a power amplifier that was also quite impressive.
