No, it's just below the tweeter.

The FST height is a little too low, and in the near field the FST and tweeter are >90 degrees out of phase.

I measured my 800D2's at the FST height - as per the HFN review and the result is very similar.

See below.

Default stuck in the past

I'm so envious of you all who can afford the 803D3's. Having enjoyed the 803 S's for the past decade, I was frankly happy to find a NIB pair of 803D2's for my recent upgrade.

Hi GreginNH1,

I see from older posts you got the 803D3's. But also a more recent post of Brian from another thread that you're selling them? May I know the reason why?

Thanks.

Ron

Hi Ronsaa,

I'm looking at reconfiguring my home (and would be losing the use of the Man Cave) and would be moving my rig to a much smaller room. I'm not thrilled about selling the speakers. They are awesome.

Hi Greg,

Oh, If it was me, I'd be a little sad to part with the speakers that I owned for only a few months, and knowing how awesome they are.

You probably could consider an 805 D3. Those were the first Diamonds I heard, and I'd liked them.

Ron
