Looking great there fella! Love it all....and that TT is a looker! Driving a Vincent, I see!

Well - I'm back. Thought I'd just add on to this post rather than starting a new thread. Not sure if this really belongs here, but it is related. I'm still trying to decide on setup. Does anyone have any strong opinions on my equipment rack location? Front or side? I know front isn't ideal - but wondering if side is any better because of first reflection points? My equipment rack isn't massive...just 32" tall with a turntable atop and open on the sides/back.

This pic shows the room drawn to scale 15.5' wide x 19.5' long. Speaker placement ~6' from front wall and 4' from side wall - seems to give me the best image. The subs aren't quite tucked that far into the corners, but you get the idea.

From all I have ever read, the rule of thumb is the side is MUCH better! My system is setup much as yours is drawn except I only have one sub. Imaging improved when I moved my rack to the position you show. Long ICs and short speaker cables.

Option 2. Speaker cables generate much more SQ loss in my experience, and are much more expensive.

Another vote for longer interconnects and shorter speaker cable.

Livestrong, I had my system set up as you currently have yours - with the rack in middle. When I switched the rack to the side I noticed a huge improvement. Unfortunately purchasing 7 meters of new interconnects was expensive.
