Owned a fair amount but the two that stick out for me were Martin Logan SL3's and my absolute favorite of all time Hales Transcendence 8's!

I see you have a Gyrodec. .. The last one I had was with a Sumiko model SUE arm, and a Sumiko Blue point special cartridge. I really miss that setup.

Thw Gyro is amazing. It sounds simply fantastic with the SME / Benz Micro combo. I love the classic looks. It never ages.

What a list. Its like the history of high end speaker design, and you have tried them all. Now here is a guy who's judgement and opinions I would certainly value. What a blast it would have been to own all this stuff. Not to mention the associated front ends.

Alas, my list is not near as long as many I've seen in this thread. However, each one held some particular appeal at that point in my life....

1977 - A pair of Fisher 3-ways. The year before I received one of those all-in-one stereos (with the turntable on top and the built in 8-track player) and it came with crappy full range speakers. I saved some buck and bought the Fishers for about $380/pair. Well, they definitely weren't high end, but that low end really rocked my small bedroom. BTO and ELO never sounded better to me!

2002 - I know....that's a big gap in time, but there just wasn't much time to develop any audiophile tendencies. Anyway I decided to jump headfirst into hometheater...and via the internet storefronts no less. I bought an Aperion Audio 5.1 setup. Teamed with decent dvd and Blu-ray players these 10+ years this system has been quite enjoyable.

2015 - Well, as luck (good or bad? Not sure yet) would have it I visited a friend who has a Dynaudio Contour setup. Yep....I'm bitten. Sorry Aperion. I'm about to acquire a pair of showroom demo S 3.4 speakers as well as the center channel. Priced so aggressively right were these that I just had to go for it. Now all I need to do is find the space in my living room. So while I've yet to experience them in my home, I'm pretty sure this set will have me falling in love all over again.
