Jacques....
Congrats on the MU-SO.
I never had the chance to hear one but it is known as one of the very best compact system on earth. The price is very attractive coming from a company with such fame and attention to quality as Naim.
Sometimes I think that I could sell all my living room system and enjoy just a unit like this, but selling all this gear would be such time consuming that I do not want to take the move.

Jerome, thank you. The Mu-So is a great player for what it is, but it certainly is not a replacement for an audiophile system. So you better hold on to your gear without any "Fear Of Missing Out".

To all others....Thank you , but still resisting

If ever Roon (with Tidal integration) comes to the Weiss MAN301...Now, that will be a different story.

Jacques,

Of course I know that such a device will mot give the same qualities as a real audiophile system. But when an audiophile system is only used for ambiance music in the room, then its replacement by something like the Mu-So comes to mind.

That is exactly how we (me and my better half) are using the Mu-So. Sometimes firing up the main system for ambiance music or radio purposes is just too much.
It is also the reason I moved the McIntosh MXA60 to the Man Cave/She Shed. The MXA60 was just too good for what is was used for and FM reception was lousy anyway.

I'm pretty confident, if you get the chance to audition one you will take one home for sure.

Would appreciate any feedback on the naim muso after a year? Still happy with it in comparison with more recent products? Mc came out with a streamer at about 2x the cost of the muso.

Am trying to figure out what to buy for a minimalist living room in our apartment (30 sqm, 4m ceiling).

This seems consistent with the feel (along with a xiaomi 4k ultra short throw laser projector), haven't demo-ed it yet but on youtube sounds decent.

Still very happy with it [emoji106] and still recommend it as one of the best in its class.

Thanks! Will ask for other suggestions on the board, but am 65% inclined to get this. I think my wife would like it instantly.

Especially the red cover.

The cabinet we'd put it on is also white
