Mine is up and runningh for two weeks now, combination with TotalDac USB cable and Ayre DX-5 is excellent.

Only negative point, first week it frooze two times, not reacting at anything, had to switch of the power and reboot.

Hope this does not become a recurring theme. You are the 2nd brand new N100H owner I know that has experienced technical difficulties. Fingers crossed just a one time snafu. My X100L has performed flawlessly for 1.5 years now, nary a hiccup. No freezing. The sound quality of Aurender is very good. Enjoying mine right now via Esoteric K01X DAC.

How does the Aurender N100H compare to your previous streamer, the AAZ Ultra Flow?
Thanks

Hi Didge70,

The aaz is a good player, but the N100H is better, I have tried them next to eachother, only switching the USB cable. (Dac ayre DX-5), the Aurender is giving a larger more precise soundstage, tonally not much difference, a bit more "shimmering" in the high frequencies.

The aaz is still a nice streamer, 1500 euro less then the Aurender. Overall quality and feel of the aurender is on another level.

I like my N100H so much I just ordered a N10. Going to be using 2 DACs and like the multiple simultaneous outputs.

Thank you for your answer. The AAZ has recently become more expensive and there's also an AAZ Reference Flow for the same money as the Aurender. As I need more storage space I'm thinking of the Aurender X100L.

Initially when I received it, I have a number of technical issues. Over the course of a few months of bantering back and forth with Aurender, they created a firmware for me. After some months, that firmware was replaced by a public edition and the unit has worked flawlessly. As with any new products, there are bugs and Aurender unlike McIntosh, provided superior support on par with that of Apple.

The Aurender model I have is not comparable with the MB100. If I was to compare, I would pit the S serious with the MB100.

I like the quality of the Aurender and the APP is off-the-hook awesome. I like that I have several products that meet my digital music file needs.
