Dan,
Very interesting ! Makes me think of the last Woody Allen movie : Midnight in Paris. We tend to think about the "0ld good times" and if we were there, we would realize how lucky we are to live in our era, and the Old times are a hell compared to today !

On another medical note, I read somewhere that the medical profession only became a net benefit to mankind around the 1890s; i.e., more harm was done than good up to that point (a lot of quacks and witch doctor types back in the day!). Dan, great food for thought.

Paul.......It is interesting to read each response, and which things people pick up on. I'm still thinking about women only washing their hair once a month.
