Alexandria X2's should work nicely in your room. You would be surprised at how close you are able to fix your seating position. If I remember correctly Wilson suggests about a 1.1 to 1.2 distance as compared to the width between the speakers. Your dealer will then adjust the 2 midrange and 1 tweeter unit for the distance you have chosen. There is no doubt that these or any large speaker can overload a mid-size room. So you always have to consider how loud you intend on listening. That has never been an issue for me. |
