Sorry, this's long over due. I had been side tracked & finally got a chance to pull my system back in place after putting in the dedicated lines. I'm glad that I did the investment as the bass is now more controlled and the mid & high are noticeably smoother. The different isn't night & day (& it didn't help that I did my comparison weeks apart) but the overall spectrum is definitely improved. And this is one of the more modest tweaks (price tag wise). Thanks for all your inputs!

Tommy.......There's no need to use anything other than UL approved romex cable in the wire gauge sized for the circuits that suit your purpose.

Hello.
Tell me please, why? For example, I am planning to run 3 lines and going to use 7x10AWG single cable (3 lines x 2 wires and 1 wire for grounding for all of them). How do you think, is it possible? Besides, all wires in the multi-wire cable are twisted along the cable's axis. Thank you.

Hoping someone might be able to share their experience with running separate dedicated circuits for my audio gear - I am looking to run 3 separate lines, one for each mono amp (Mac 1.2KW’s) and one for the rest of my gear, which would include, pre amp, clock, DAC’s, streamer, sub woofer, router, TV and Blu Ray player.

I currently have all of this gear on 1 dedicated circuit from the rest of the house but have added over the last couple of years and thinking best to put some more circuits in - geez I wish I did this the first time!!

Would there be any issues keeping the router, TV etc on the same circuit as the other audio equipment like pre amp, streamer, clock, DAC and sub woofer?

Also we run 3 phase power - is it ok to run all 3 circuits on the same phase or better to seperate over different phases?

I’m obviously working with an electrician who is a mate of mine but he suggested asking the ‘audio gurus’ from an audio quality perspective and what people have experienced.

If you could share any relevant experiences it would be appreciated!

Thanks guys...
