Sky.fm for example goes through shoutcast.com to find the url and present the account to access it. I would suggest that you select the stations that you like and want to hear, find the current url's for them and pay the subscription fee for the higher res stream. Then load the current url with your access code into the MS750. The stations you have done this way work fine. The lock ups you are experiencing may not even be unique to the MS750, Windows and Mac's both have lock ups when accessing items across the network. This may be due to DNS servers, target web servers and other network issues. I would delete the dead stations from the radio list just to reduce accidental selection and hang ups from them.

I've already tried locating the URL's of stations and loading them without much success. I think the issue is more with internet radio now using specialized apps (like Flash) to launch. I'm not an internet radio expert but it seems that the station itself has to provide/allow direct streaming without an intermediary app being called up to play the music and display the ad's. BUT if someone has a listing of stations Like Radio Swiss Jazz that allow this or has done with other stations please forward some instructions on how to do it.

I've been following this tread from the beginning. I can't help but to notice that there is no more sever available for the MSXXX servers. Wouldn't that mean that there will no longer be any internet radio. And just trying to reach the internet the MSXXX could be freezing up. Just a observation

This is the url I am using for RSJ: http://stream.srg-ssr.ch/m/rsj/mp3_128
If you have never entered one, pull your owners manual and go to the section explaining same. You will need your keyboard. Go to I-Radio/Options and find "add station" in the menu. Should work ok. Caution: That is an underline between mp3 and the 128.

Radio Swiss the only station that I've been able to add, if there are other stations like it or a listing of stations like it I'de be glad to test them.

So I think we can say it is not the I-Radio per se. My next step will be to disconnect the Ethernet cable and see if that changes anything. I am being very careful to only change one variable at a time, the cornerstone of good diagnosis. Will report next week. By the way, I have not tried those old pre-loaded stations in a long time and have the stations I loaded myself set up as favorites so small chance of an accident. Still, Larry's idea is a good one and I will wipe them when I get a chance. Much appreciate everyone's input.

Well I am a good 8-9 days since I pulled the Ethernet cable, have accessed the music files daily and no freeze ups or start failures. Will give it a few more days, but preliminarily it looks like my issue is Ethernet-related. If so, wonder what that suggests and whether reinstalling the OS from the MS Complete Disc would solve given this is something that started last December, cured itself this summer and then started again this past fall.

Im not sure that would help you in this case; but then again, nobody else is complaining about regular, almost scheduled resets either. So....maybe try another fresh hard drive using the golden disc, keeping the HD you now have as a backup. That can't hurt except for the investment of $100 for drive and your time.

Remember, reloading the operating system may depend on registration with the same servers that are down causing you problem to begin with and causing Gracenote not to accept the McIntosh login.
