Howie.......There is no doubt about it, the Meridian DSP 8000 speakers are gorgeous, and are recognized as top shelf performers. Beautiful.

Im using my 501 mono to fronts and mc205 200x - center 200x -2 rears. So, I have 2 left.
I like the stereo racks!
crytklmass.......Since you have two idle channels on your MC205, and you already use one of the three active channels on the MC205 for the center channel, you have plenty of amps to do what ever you desire with the center channel. You could easily run two center channel speakers using the MC205, and still have one idle amplifier channel.

Thanks! I think we do a disservice to our centre speakers. Manufacturers should be happy to sell a single speaker to us like Meridian does.

Thanks Dan. They don't have the classical looks of Sonus Faber or PMC's but I like them all the same.

Great Idea, I do have a pair of rears but still have 2 free channels. been considering 7 ch. for a while. I'll experiment with the center. That will give me something to do. I would have to assume speaker manufacturers design the center speaker for movies though. I guess im still baffled by the test. I think mine sounds great, but an htm1d would sound better Wouldn't have room for a singler 802d
