Thanks Cyrill! I'm buying a demo pair from a friend first/dealer second. Nice to save a few dollars on those babies. They're Macadamia. And I have a nice big room an DS450 waiting for them. ETA is June 19th. It is going to be a long month.

I think Serge (PCH) also ordered his in macademia. Wow...that's quite a coincidence. You know we will be waiting for pics and review once they are set up and you have had some time with them.

LOL, those should be Franklins, not Washingtons. Hey, at least I'm buying a demo pair.

Yep, I actually listened to them on a DSi200. The DS450 has plenty of balls I'm certain. And the MAXX3s are 5dB more sensitive than the outgoing Revels.

Pre: Boulder 810.
Sources: ARC DAC7 (soon to be a DAC8) for the Sonos and the cable box, Esoteric UX-1 for DVDs, CDs, and SACDs, and finally (soon) a Rega P9 with Lyra Delos going through an ARC PH6.
The room it's self is about 22'x34' with high ceilings.
I'll likely sell the REL B-1 i've been using in that system. The MAXX3s won't need it.

I almost forgot one source: my kids' Nintendo Wii going through Boulder RCA to XLR input adapters.
