Wireworld IC
I wanted to put balanced cables in my home theater between the MX120 and MC207 for my front L/R speakers. I have Wireworld Equinox which is middle of the line in my other room. I was looking at the Wireworld Equinox XLR and Eclipse XLR on there website and they look to be the same cable with different exterior insulation ? It looks like the Silver Eclipse is silver plated oxygen free copper and the other two are bare oxygen free copper. From what I have read the silver cable accentuates the high's more then the copper. If I move one pair of my Equinox to the home theater from the 2 channel room, should I skip the Eclipse and move straight to the Silver Eclipse ? The existing Equinox sounds really good now
 When it comes to cables I do not know what to do ?

David.......You are going to get plenty of recommendations, all based on what others hear, and that includes me. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, you can do a lot worse than what you are presently enjoying, and you can do better, too. My suggestion would be to put Wireworld 6.0 Silver Eclipse balanced interconnects between the MCD500 and the C220, and between the C220 and both MC501 amplifiers. The 6.0 Silver Eclipse balanced interconnects are not bright, they are extremely detailed, transparent, and accurate in my opinion. This will give you four Equinox cables out of the seven cables you need for the home theater system. Then, just purchase three more Wireworld Equinox interconnects to make up the difference in the theater system. This will give you superb, open, natural sound from your main system, and an improved sound on the theater system.
I suggest you talk it over with Ivan. He will make a deal you cannot match anywhere else. Highly recommended. That's my two cents worth.
