I saw Cat Power Plays Dylan's Royal Albert Hall concert a couple of nights ago. Absolutely incredible--beautiful voice, super tight band. I was too stupid/square to see Dylan anywhere close to his prime, so this is as close as I'll ever get. She's on a long tour, highly recommended!

That sounds like an amazing venue. Need to get there. Similar music, we saw Mile 12 (a Boston bluegrass band,, with three or four releases) in 2023 at a local venue, part of a local church but with excellent acoustics. Maybe 100 people, great music.

Going to see Bob Dylan at the Roxy in Hollywood in April, a little more than 50 years after seeing him for the first time. I'm taking my 17 year old guitar playing son with me. He seems to know what he's in for...

BTW, regarding Cat Power's re-recording of the "Judas" concert, I heard it for the first time just a couple weeks ago and recommend it highly to any Dylan fan--it's a lot of fun and much better than you think it will be. I had no idea she's doing it on tour--that would be fun to see.
