You're right, I didn't initially like the Diamonds, but I think it was because of setup. The subsequent times I went in, more care was taken to setup both speakers.

When I brought them home, I was able to do a direct comparison. It didn't hurt that the my wife preferred the look of the B&W.

Putting the aesthetics aside - the biggest different was the air in the treble. It made the music I listen that much more enjoyable.

Very, very solid speakers. I've not listened to this much music in some time.

For some reason I thought you had gone with the Sonus Faber Strads in the end. Does that mean you still haven't made the decision?
