My MC 601’s came with Hi-Fi tuning mains fuses. I swapped them out with high quality Bussman Ceramic fuses and could not hear any difference at all. Nada. Zip. Zero. Since I had zero invested in these little guys I don’t think I was biased one way or another.
I never really cozied up to the sound of the MC 601’s and sold them along with the hi-fi tuning fuses. Fast forward to today, there are certainly valid reasons why a better fuse would sound better so I may have to give it another try. Tom

Hey Tom (W9TR) - perhaps this has been beaten up already - but do any of these high-end fuses go through any performance/compliance testing?
