New Reference Gear?

I saw something on another board that said while other reference gear will be out starting in Sept., the network player won't be out until after the first of the year.

Spoke to Marantz at the Munich Hi-End Show in May; and the rep said they had no plans to bring out replacements for the MA9S2's; then he preceeded to show me that gear that was available to buy from the current line up; though nothing from the soon to be.

Spoke to a dealer last week. They were at a product update with Marantz. They are also going to release a home cinema pre-amp in the reference series.

Music Direct now has the new 11 series integrated amp and SACD player on its website, in black (but not gold). I read somewhere that the network player (the piece I'm interested in) has been delayed until after the first of the year, so Marantz can get a better idea of what the market wants.

I hadn't heard about the AV preamp before.

It looks like something is coming because there is almost nothing in the reference section of the Marantz website.

There is a new Marantz SA11S3 out now, looks like it replaces SA7S1, have only seen pictures of new SA11S3 in black so far, msrp $4K

hmmm......wonder why they would not label it SA7S2 or SA7S3? Something along the lines of SA7S_ ---fill in the blank. Curious. However, it looks like a great SACD player!
