Dan....they look absolutely stunning! I’m very happy for you! I’m sure you’ll be spending more time in the living room and less time in the studio for quite sometime.

Dan,
Congratulations! The new MC75s look amazing. I hope you got all your chores done before they arrived. You're not going to get much done for the next several days.

Paul.......When Marlene passed away in January the whole house became different. She enjoyed television as much as I enjoy music, so the living room was mostly her room, although I did manage to listen to the living room system in the mornings with my coffee and pastry. Now that I am the only one here the living room sound system has gotten a lot more use. My studio system time is usually in the evening and late hours. Now the living room system plays the better part of the day until I go outside or leave the house. I agree, though, the living room sound system will certainly be strutting its stuff.

Dan....man oh man, those amps are sweet. They look great in the rack...and I have no doubt they sound beyond delicious. I've always looked at these amps with interest...now I have some real envy going on!

Congratulations my friend...I look forward to my next visit, when I'll get to check these out in person. Enjoy!!

Don’t you want to take them to the studio and do a good old fashion shoot-out with the big daddy’s?

Dan-

Great to read your initial impressions! And more so to fire them up with the "whole enchilada." With your tenure in this "hobby," you knows the ropes so cool to get right to the serious listening PC/Tube/Flex upgrades in tow!

The 75's hold a special place in the Mc line-up as you have alluded to in initial 452, 275 and 2301 comparrisons.

Enjoy the Sounds!

Congrats, Dan. Always wonder if I made a mistake when I moved away from the MC75s some years back. Glad that you are enjoying them as much as I did. A step above the single MC275 they replaced, which I found to be a step above a pair of MC275s running as mono-blocks. For a slighter sweeter mid-range, you might try a set of 6550 Winged-Cs. Wonderful amps.

Dan, those are beautiful amps - you mentioned you should have bought a pair two years ago - how are these different than the version I read about on McIntosh’s website?
