enatai252... that's a BIG order! Congratulations!

What made you decide to include also the clock?... I understood you were inclined to pass the clock and the transport.

Did you audition it or is it a leap of faith?

It is somewhat a leap...trusting a pair of ears that I have a lot of confidence in. The majority of my listening is with hi Rez or CD ripped files using the Naim server. The Upsampler's streamer is asynchronous so will benefit from the clock. My two transport sources will have the Upsampler send the clock signal separately to the DAC. From what I have heard from trusted sources...even the DAC alone will be outstanding....and was an option I considered. In the end...I decided to make the investment in the full system. And will now await the new Vivaldi Controller app along with the units. 5 of the digital cables are for the clock connections to the Upsampler (2) and DAC (2) and between Upsampler and DAC (1)

2 AES digital cables for dual AES and one AES from transport to Upsampler.

Will update post when I get it

enatai252 -- glad you added the clock to your stack. With it & the dCS DAC/Upsampler & the Vahalla cables will be the utmost in world class digital playback. Awesome!

Congratulations.

Many good ones over there. I rely on them for a lot. This was a set on the east coast however. This time of year Seattle is good for a short visit... In the late summer it's good for a long stay

The seeds of economic recovery are planted each time a patriot such as you parts with discretionary income to buy something they don't NEED but they WANT. Congratulations and Thank You!

Don't have the correct vocabulary to describe how realistic every instrument including voice sounds on this rig. If it gets any better, my wife will divorce me for neglect. Bad recordings sound better but really good ones are phenomenal. Chesky, Mapleshade, Opus 3, 2L, Blue Coast. All sound like live music without the coughing, sneezing, talking, cigarette smoke etc. My upgrading days are over. Perfection is at hand.

Sounds promising! What other converters have you had in the system prior to the Vivaldi?
