Default Anyone using 501's with Auditors w/or without JL Subds

Just trying to get a little experience here.

I am thinking for my "downsize" that I may need some really beautiful speakers... that rules out the TB1i's so now I am thinking about Auditors and a JL 113?

Comments suggestions...

Anything???

I know that it is really more of a jazz, strings, and female vocals type of speakers, but I have heard that it can ROCK also.

I did for about a year before upgrading to Memento's. Great combo. The JL F113 should also keep up with the fast midbass drivers of the Auditors.

Thanks guys. I would NOT step up to Homages for this set up, I will wait for Wilsons or PMC's to spend the big bucks...

But I think Auditors ( which I adore the look of) and a JL sub would make a nice comprimise for a very small music room 11X14...

Anyone hear of a great deal on a used pair, please let me know.

I've done it, and it worked pretty well.

There was a great deal on the last pair I owned. A friend was over and asked me if I wanted to sell them, I said okay give me two grand, he pulled out his checkbook and wrote the check. I didn't think he'd do it, I won't do that again.

What does this mean? I think Sonus faber can hold to Wilson and PMC models which are comparable.

Are you comparing Wilson Duettes to Sonus faber Guarneris, or Sophias and Watt/Puppys to them. And what PMCs?

No, not comparing... I was thinking about PMC TB1i's, but frankly think that I will need something more beautiful... hence the SF's

The only Wilson's that I will consider are the Sophias 2's and that will be be for another room and another system in another time

I hapen to think that the SL Auditors, a JL sub and McIntosh 501's would make for a very musical system.
