Default Thanksgiving Travel

Anyone doing anything 'fun' in the way of travel over Thanksgiving?

We enjoyed Madrid over this past New Year that we are headed to Paris for 5-days over Thanksgiving. Think they will have turkey with all the trimmings? Will miss it, but am guessing we'll find something to tide us over.

Not exactly long-distance travel, but we will go to Seattle for a couple of days and see Taj Mahal. He’s a bit of a Thanksgiving tradition, he’s been coming to Seattle to play several days over Thanksgiving for 30 or more years now.

He’s here for 8 days and 13 shows, I have never heard of anyone playing so long.

I’ll consider going Friday or Saturday.

Taj Mahal and KebMo played at the Benaroya Hall in Seattle a couple of months back. I went for the concert and had a ball. It was an awesome performance.

Good to hear your experience, and that venue is amazing!

Almost forgot about this, thanks for the reminder!

Taj still has several shows left at the Jazz Alley, go if you can, it’s such a great venue.

No long distance travel this year for us.

We're hosting. I don't like turkey so I'm making rack of lamb sous vide as the main course.

My wife is two months away from delivering kid #5, so we're hunkering down for the holidays this year. We usually go to Seattle to spend time with my in-laws, but not this time.
