they also sell the exact speaker in bronze for a cool $60,000. interesting review in hi-fi choice. interesting because they state they used bronze because "bronze is what bells are made of and it amplifies sound and therefore should be a good material to make loudspeaker cabinets with" the article then goes onto say how much they had to damp the cabinet to reduce ringing! my first thought when reading that was why would you want a cabinet that rings like a bell? seems like a bad idea, just an extravagant way to build a poor sounding cabinet.
