Still-One, and anyone else...
Where do they excel in your opinion? I'd be concerned about imaging with the omni directional design. Would you consider the presentation diffused to some degree?

In my opinion they excel in producing a very live sounding soundstage. They also have the uncanny ability to disappear like monitors. I can understand your concern about imaging and it took me several listening sessions to appreciate what I was hearing. You do not hear pinpoint imaging in a live performance. That goes for solo instruments, un-amplified vocals, and especially large orchestras and rock concerts. I am not saying everything is a mismash of sound, far from it. You hear the natural reverberation as you would in any live performance. In general all the sounds are located exactly where they should be, only with a depth you do not get with most other speakers. Hope that helps. Jim |

LOL, ya, I saw your other posts on that. Hey, you never know.
Your description of them sounds a bit like Maggies. As far as the 20.1 goes, I've have them positioned at a heavy forward lean and the fact I've raised them up off the ground 6 inches has produced an surprisingly sharp image without loss of coherency. I'd like to hear your system.
