Python Zi-Tron Digital Cable

700+ hours. It has been consistent for the last 100 hours so I think break-in is finished.
First and foremost this cable makes things clear and focused. Focused is the main theme that I keep coming back to. It's really good!
Bass is deep and fleshed out. Images are wide and deep in the soundstage. Details, especially in the far corners are the best I've had on this system. Dynamics, both micro and macro are outstanding. Whether I'm listening to Mozart (right now!) or have the rock blasting at concert levels everything stays together, just getting louder or softer as the volume control dictates. The loudspeakers just disappear.
I do believe that this cables needs 500+ hours of continuous play before it's at its best

I like this cable so much I'm going to try the speaker cable....

My experience with the Python digital closely mirrors yours. I have the Python SC's and I predict, given your satisfaction with the digital wire, that you will be very, very pleased. I think it's good to start with the SC's and then move to the IC's...some people do it in reverse and are a bit disappointed. For me, the SC's supplied the biggest bang for bucks. Break in may not be quite as much of a roller coaster as with the digital, but I really think 500 hours is what it takes to attain optimal performance in all categories. Once they're broken in, I don't think there's a better cable for anywhere near the money. Enjoy!

I'm glad you are very pleases with the Z Python DC. I bought the Cobra and I'm very pleased. For the small difference in cost between these, I should have gone with the Python....

I may get one as I implement a music server this fall.

Its really good that I don't use IC's in my system!
