Help in choosing camera needed
I'm on a limited budget but I need to come up into the '00s and get a digital camera. Let's just say I'd like to spend $150 tops. Any suggestions would be helpful... I'll never get with it until I get from in front of the system and shoot some pics, at least of my gear and my kid... Thanks in advance.

From my experience, sub point and shoot cameras under $150 are not so good. The shutter is slow and the LCD screen is poor. My iPhone 4 takes better pictures than the nikon I bought from Costco. I returned it next day.

probably more than you want to spend, but bear in mind, it may satisfy your needs longer...
Lumix LX3 DMC-LX3 | PRODUCTS | LUMIX | Digital Camera | Panasonic Global basically a Leica DLux 4 made by Panasonic...for 1/2 the cost (or does Panasonic makes the DLux 4?) Leica Camera AG - Photography - D-LUX 4 it's identical, controls, lens, image chip, etc.
